Now hiring: aluminium TIG welder (Sokoto State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Shagari, Sokoto State. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. ₦105,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
