Immediate opening: we are hiring a janitor in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a school or college. On a typical shift you will dust and wipe down desks, window sills and skirting boards; segregate general waste and recycling into the correct bins; sweep, mop and vacuum floors across all assigned areas; restock toilet paper, hand towels and soap dispensers; empty waste bins and replace the bin liners; mix cleaning chemicals to the correct dilution and follow COSHH data sheets. Requirements: • Basic English to read labels and cleaning instructions • Fit to stand, bend and lift throughout long shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $20 per hour plus benefits.
