Great opportunity: we are hiring a line cook in Leavenworth County, Kansas. You will work at a roadside dhaba. You should have: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies On a typical shift you will check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks.
