The role involves: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
