Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Rotating shifts.
