Trowel-trade bricklayer • Anderson County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Anderson County, Kentucky. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On a typical shift you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 4+ years on the tools preferred.
