Escalator technician • Rock County, Wisconsin

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Rock County, Wisconsin. You will work on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota On the job you will handle: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience.
