Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Your main tasks: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Rotating shifts.
