Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Chautauqua County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Performance bonus on top of base pay.
