Gas appliance installer • Middlesex County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Middlesex County, Virginia. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Your main tasks: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
