Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Warrick County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
