Now hiring: TIG welder (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Haskell County, Kansas. The role involves: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
