Restoration bricklayer — Nassau County

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Nassau County, Florida. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding You will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
