Cnc production machinist — O'Brien County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in O'Brien County, Iowa. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code You will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
