Vacancy available: shuttering carpenter (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Grant County, Kentucky. You will work on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Full-time, day shift. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
