Falsework carpenter wanted in Municipal Area Council

We are recruiting: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Municipal Area Council, Federal Capital Territory. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement.
