Elevator technician wanted in East Riding of Yorkshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. We offer £115 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
