Urgent requirement: coating plant operator (Northern Ireland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. You should have: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting The role involves: • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time 4+ years on the tools preferred.
