Brick mason — Logan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Logan County, Oklahoma. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Your main tasks: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
