Steel erection rigger — Thurston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Thurston County, Washington. The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
