Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Halifax County, Virginia. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
