Truck driver — Scotland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a truck driver in Scotland County, Missouri. You will work on long-haul routes across the country. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Confident with manual handling and load securing Day-to-day duties: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Rotating shifts.
