Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Woodford County, Kentucky. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
