Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Christian County, Illinois. The job is on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day to day you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
