Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
