Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Curry County, Oregon. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On a typical shift you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust.
