Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bailey County, Texas. You will work on an industrial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Your main tasks: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
