We are recruiting: die-casting operator (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
