Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Scott County, Missouri. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
