GTAW welder — Tafawa-Balewa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Tafawa-Balewa, Bauchi State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
