Automotive electrical technician — Caerphilly County Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive electrical technician in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. The job is at a car service garage. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools preferred • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods • 2+ years' hands-on auto electrical experience On the job you will handle: • Service power windows, mirrors and wiper motors • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner • Replace ABS, oxygen and crankshaft sensors • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter • Install alarms, immobilisers and central locking • Solder and heat-shrink wiring joints Six days a week, one day off.
