Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Kiru, Kano State. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode.
