Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Aitkin County, Minnesota. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
