Rigger wanted in Lauderdale County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather You will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
