What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On a typical shift you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
