Safety officer • Andoni, Rivers State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Andoni, Rivers State. The job is at a busy construction site. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date ₦180,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
