Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Delaware County, Ohio. The job is on an industrial construction site. You will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 6+ years on the tools preferred.
