Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Cole County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
