Lift mechanic • Whitley County, Indiana

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Whitley County, Indiana. You will work on a high-rise construction site. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Your main tasks: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
