Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Cumberland County, New Jersey. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
