Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Clay County, Georgia. You will work on the moulding line. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits.
