Shuttering carpenter wanted in Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Putnam County, New York. You will be based on a residential tower site. The role involves: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Six days a week, one day off.
