Shakeout operator wanted in Billings County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Billings County, North Dakota. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
