The role involves road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; recharge and service the air-conditioning system; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends. You should have: • Own set of hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps Six days a week, one day off.
