You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination You will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
