Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Kalawao County, Hawaii. You will work on a golf course. On a typical shift you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Part-time with flexible hours.
