Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Watauga County, North Carolina. The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time with occasional weekends.
