Earthmoving equipment operator • Costilla County, Colorado

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Costilla County, Colorado. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers What we are looking for: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site 3+ years on the tools preferred.
