Offshore rigger — Harrison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Harrison County, West Virginia. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
