Now hiring: we are hiring a cold room technician in Muskegon County, Michigan. The job is in an HVAC service company. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day-to-day duties: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
